The use of the accommodation and facilities are entirely at your own risk and no responsibility will be accepted for injury, loss of damages to the user, their belonging or their motor vehicles.
The owners aim to ensure that the information provided on the website is accurately conveyed. Any changes to the property and its facilities will be notified to you as is practical. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes or claims to the area amenities mentioned on our website.
The Booker acknowledges that he, she or they are authorised to accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all those persons who will occupy the tent, and that they are aware of the booking terms and conditions and have agreed by those conditions and shall be a member of the party occupying the property and that they accept the following:
Payment
We require a non-refundable deposit of 30% which must be paid within 7 working days of the booking.
The balance of the fee must be paid no less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date of your stay.
If the booking is made within 8 weeks of the commencement of you stay, the full amount is required at the time of booking.
Payments can be made by PayPal or by bank transfer to Somerleaze Glamping.
Cancellation
If we are notified of a cancellation more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, any payment received less 30%, will be returned. If a cancellation is made within 8 weeks of arrival 50% will be returned.
If we successfully re- let the tent, for that time period only, then we will fully refund.
We recommend that guests ensure they have adequate holiday insurance cover prior to their arrival.
Your Party
The Maximum no of people who can stay in the tent is 6
Only the number of adults, children and infants stated by you and listed on the owners booking information may occupy the premises overnight. Children are classed as under 16 and infants under 2 years of age.
The booker must certify that they are over 18 years of age and that they are a member or the party staying .
The booker agrees that they act as principal and has absolute liability for all the members of the party at all times.
Animals and Pets
Pets are welcome at Somerleaze Glamping, by arrangement, (only because we are a farm and there are livestock considerations). We don’t charge you extra. We do ask that you clean up any mess.
Safety
We accept no responsibility or liability in connection with the suitability or non – suitability of the tent for the Booker and/or the persons staying . The renter accepts that the property is situated in a rural area and is affected by local country/farming pursuits. The existence of flora and fauna at the property means that insects and other wildlife are not uncommon and the booker and that those who are listed as staying on the booking form, acknowledge the rural nature of the property.
Bookers with children must take parental/guardian responsibility for them at all times. Children must not be allowed to play unsupervised by a responsible adult anywhere on the site. Fireguards must be used on the wood-burning stove at all times and children must not be allowed near a camp fire without adult supervision.
Bookers must not disturb the peace and tranquillity of Somerleaze Glamping at any time, nor cause excessive noise or nuisance so as to in any way cause disturbance.
A life ring is provided next to the jetty on the lake. We also provide buoyancy aids for adults and children. Children must be supervised near the lake at all times.
Arrival and Departure
The tent is available from 3.00pm on arrival day, and must be vacated by 11.00am on departure day.
Anything outside of this must be by prior arrangement.
Parking
We don’t allow any vehicles in the meadow so all vehicles must be left at the bottom of the track.
Your Obligations
To take reasonable care of the property and ensure that the property, and all equipment is left clean and in good working order.
Pay for any losses or damages to the property or equipment
Not to smoke or allow others to smoke inside the property or to light any candles or any naked flames inside.
Chinese Lanterns are not permitted
The wood burner must be used in accordance with the instructions given.
Not to exceed the number of people staying overnight.
Campfires must be in the designated area (and be controlled).
Hunting is not permitted nor use of firearms.
